DARN: 'Tallulah' Book Launch & Exhibition

I assisted Amelia in the writing that can be found within the Tallulah book, as well as an accompanying press release and Instagram captions.

Whilst I am a digital advocate for communication, inspiration and the sharing of ideas, in today’s world it is always special to see photography in print within a tangible object, one that can be admired and referred back to over time - without having to remember a web address or password login. As I assisted Amelia in expressing her thoughts for her first photography publication Rosa some years ago, and now her latest, it is a sweet reminder of both our almost ten-year friendship and her own development as a multifaceted creative.

Photographer, designer and founder of DARN, Amelia has always shown me just how much can be squeezed into a day, inspiring me to appreciate life’s silly and unexpected moments, to be more spontaneous and really go for it. Whilst I might not always be able to keep up, I never tire of watching in awe as she creates spectacular imagery using her own creative direction and designs.

Debuted on Friday September 17th at the HOLAN Collective space, St Ives, Cornwall, the Tallulah book presents Amelia’s latest collection of imagery with illustrator Tallulah Pomeroy as her muse. Swimming, climbing and frolicking, the imagery celebrates child-like freedom and unprompted liberty without props or clothing - rather Tallulah in her nude glory radiating her own individual light.
